Best SBI cashback alternative, Swiggy hdfc + kiwi with neon?

Help Needed/ Question

I've been trying to get the SBI Cashback card but have been rejected multiple times due to an "over-leverage" issue. I'm now looking for the best alternative combination.

My current cards are:

  • Regalia Gold (LTF)
  • Tata Neu Infinity (LTF)
  • Scapia (LTF)
  • Airtel Axis
  • ICICI Sapphiro (Mastercard and Amex, both LTF)
  • Amazon Pay ICICI (LTF)

My current usage pattern is:

  • Primary Card: Regalia Gold
  • UPI, Grocery, Zomato, Insurance: Tata Neu
  • Electricity & Wifi Bills: Airtel Axis
  • Amazon: Amazon Pay ICICI

I did some digging and found that the reward rate on my Regalia Gold is between 1.33% and 3.5% in the best-case scenario (without Smartbuy), as detailed in this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/CreditCardsIndia/s/xZySAH4QRx

For UPI spends, it seems the Kiwi card is a clear winner over Tata Neu after 1lakh. With an annual spend of ₹1.5 lakh on UPI and other non-excluded categories, Kiwi offers a 4.2% return (after deducting the ₹999 fee + GST). After the initial high-reward period, it still gives a ~2% return but with a catch. You can see a detailed comparison here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CreditCardsIndia/s/SEyZbyECtR

This has me thinking: should I switch my primary card strategy?

I'm considering applying for the Swiggy HDFC card and pairing it with the Kiwi card. This way, I'd get:

  • 5% cashback on most online spends with the Swiggy card (up to the monthly cap).
  • 4.2% return on UPI spends with the Kiwi card.

For offline spending, the Tata Neu card gives a 1.5% return, which is better than the 1.33% on my Regalia Gold.

I don't have an annual spend of ₹8 lakh or more, so premium cards like DCB Metal or Infinia are out of reach for now.

So, my questions for the community are:

  • What are your thoughts on the Swiggy HDFC + Kiwi combination as a primary setup for online and UPI spends?
  • Is there a better way to use my Regalia Gold? I know it offers 5x reward points on certain categories, which translates to a 6.67% return. But where can I maximize this?
    • Grocery & Food: Swiggy HDFC offers 10% cashback (up to ₹1500). Airtel Axis gives 10% on Swiggy and Zomato (up to ₹500), and Tata Neu gives 10% as Zomato money (uncapped).
    • Bills: Airtel Axis gives 25% on wifi (up to ₹250) and 10% on electricity.
    • Insurance: Tata Neu gives 5%. It seems like for most of my major spending categories, other cards offer better returns, and Regalia Gold falls short for general offline use. What do you all think? Am I missing something with the Regalia Gold, or is the Swiggy HDFC + Kiwi combination the way to go?
