pre hire schedule change

I have a new hire appointment coming up as a regular (20 hours a week, 5 days) and I’m scheduled at 3pm on Mondays, but I don’t think I’ll be able to make it on time since my college classes end at 2:50 that day. Am I able to request to change it?
