Having chronic bloating 24/7, suffered with binge eating disorder for 5 years.

Hi everyone. I’m 18F and have been struggling with binge eating-restrictive patterns since late 2019. Even though I’ve maintained a healthy weight and have never been overweight, I’ve been having frequent and severe episodes of binge eating for 5 years, and then restricting for days/weeks. I’ve always had good digestion and a flat stomach up until about 4 months ago. For 4 months I have been permanently bloated, suffering with pain (mild) after eating, and occasional bloating. I’m really worried that I’ve caused some kind of gastrointestinal issue and I don’t know what to do. I’ve been thinking of starting an IBS low fodmap diet, but considering my past with an eating disorder, I’m not sure if it will help if it’s another issue causing this bloating. My binge eating patterns are largely caused by anxiety, stress and self hatred, which is what this new bloating is making 100x worse, which is now triggering my binge eating even more. I’m really stuck. I feel completely hopeless. I feel like I’ve caused irreversible damage to my body from this stupid mental illness.
