Somewhat bumpy boat ride at 15w
Hello! I’m 15+2, low risk NIPT and good strong scans to date! My only risk factor so far is my BMI, but I’m not yet referred to the weight specialty doctors (idk the official term lol) so just trucking along, trying to stay weight neutral.
Today, we went out on my father in law’s boat since it was a scorcher of a day and a dip in the lake sounded great. My FIL knows I’m pregnant so was avoiding the wakes and going on calmer areas. The way out was smooth, the lake was lovely, all was well. On the way back, we had maybe 4-6 notable bumps. I’d say they felt pretty similar to hitting a big pothole in the road.
Logically, I know that the placement of baby this early and the fluid are there to protect. And I know if I’m worried, to call my doctor (they’re closed today so would be going to an ER if really concerned). I guess I’m just seeking opinions on how worried I should be from the bumps on the boat. I’m a FTM to be and admittedly anxious. I feel so stupid for having not thought about the risks of a bumpy ride before hopping in. Thanks in advance if you read all of this!
