Who else thinks the yellowjackets did something bad POST rescue?

Given how Shauna, Tai and the others react to the blackmailer in season 1 doesn’t give the impression that they’re only hiding what happened out in the Wilderness.

I think they had one final hunt post rescue, because it doesn’t make any sense that they could be convicted/have their lives. ruined AFTER the fact. Like, what are investigators going to find 2 decades later? If they weren’t investigated as criminals as teenagers I don’t see any reason why they would now in the present.

Their reactions in season 1 only really make sense if they did something incriminating after they got back home. But who or what that could entail is still a mystery. Maybe someone was threatening to talk/refusing to agree to the terms the girls put forth?
