Anybody else's older model pixels suddenly really slow or is it just ?

My pixel has been really slow and the opposite of snappy lately. I did a bunch of cleanup but it seems even worse. Just wondering if this is some planned obselecense with the release of the new model or if I just have some other issue, which I hope is the case because I have really enjoyed the pixel.
