How is anyone coping?

General Discussion/Question

Seriously, I am finding everything so difficult at the moment - even more so than the base-level finding things difficult I’ve experienced my whole life. Politically, things are so so bad at the moment across the board, and every day my heart breaks more and more at the injustices going on around the world and the feelings of utter helplessness. Everything feels so unfair. I have no energy to do anything, my house is a mess, I have no clean clothes, the dishes are piling up, I’ve stopped looking after myself. I don’t have the energy or happiness to share with people. I feel a great distance between myself and my friends, and my parents, because I’m not able to bring anything to any relationships because I’m just so exhausted with the world.

I think if politically things were feeling optimistic, I’d be able to find more energy and drive to at least pursue hobbies and spend time with my friends, but it feels like the life’s been sucked out of me. Does anyone relate? How are people coping with this? Do you think neurotypical people find it easier to mentally cope with all the injustice globally?
