How effective is the pull out method actually?

Me and my girlfriend just had unprotected sex, but I didn't finish. It was 3 days before ovulation, I didn't jerk off recently, but there was ofc precum. She doesn't want to take any pills but we definitely do not want a baby lol. I know there's a lot of factors but how bad is it. I'm just here to learn something.
