Deleting and reuploading first video?

CONTENT TALK

Title says most of it. I uploaded my the first video on my channel today, and even though I’m pretty confident that it’s good quality-wise (good audio, good title, good thumbnail, etc), I feel like I made some mistakes just after uploading it—I obsessively rewatched it/kept clicking on it, messed around with the description a few times, and, okay, I admit, liked it on an old alternate account just to have the number go up.

I’m not totally sure, but I feel like my tiny weak interactions on the video (especially clicking on it but not watching all the way through) may have given it a really bad start in the eyes of the algorithm, and considering it’s my first video and I don’t really have anything to lose, I’m wondering if I should delete it and reupload it without messing with it at all this time.

Or maybe I’m just being paranoid. I know, it’s a first video, it’s probably not going to get over 500 or even 100 views within the first couple days. But other ‘first videos’ in the same genre (animation/storytime) often do receive up to thousands of views within the first couple days. I at least know that my video is good, so should I try uploading it again to maybe get better luck?

Sorry if this is a little incoherent, this is my first post on this subreddit and I don’t even post to Reddit often. Just anxious, any help/advice appreciated! :)
