subaru threw p0700 and p2763 that went away after adding oil

title pretty much says it all. a few days ago, u started up my 2014 subaru forester, and it lit up like a christmas tree. abs, vdcs, check engine, and at oil temp all light up, so i check it with my OBD2 and it threw me a permanent P0700 and P2763, so i was unable to delete it. since it’s technically in my dads name i decided to let it sit until he could get over here.

stupidly, i hadn’t even thought to check my oil, and turned out there was nothing in there. bone dry completely. i thought i had added some recently but it must not have been enough/too long time. (rookie am i right) so dad adds just like a half pint to drive it back home, and then restarts the car.

and then keeps restarting the car

one by one, all the lights went off, and every warning i got on the screen was gone. we even double checked with the OBD2 scanner and all the codes were gone (except the ones needing to be manually erased but they never came back)

so yeah. i’ve never heard of anything like this considering it was a torque converter clutch solenoid that was throwing a code and i threw fluid in the engine, not the transmission. anyone have any ideas? is it just dumb luck? thanks!
