Pray for Trump to survive until 2029 so Jack Smith can do the Lord's work

There have been a handful of posts recently about the rumors that Trump hasn't been seen in a while, insinuating that he might be dying, and half-jokingly insinuating that that would be a good thing. I think that's the completely wrong view to have for a few reasons, such as: It's bad optics to hope the president dies (cucked, I know), JD Vance would be worse, and the MAGA movement has a better chance of surviving if the figurehead dies while in office. I want to pitch another off-to-the-side reason: that he would escape justice.

Jack Smith's case against Trump regarding his attempts to overturn the 2020 election was dismissed when he won the election. But because the case was dismissed without prejudice, the government could re-file the charges against him in 2029. If he were to die now, before the government gets that opportunity, not only does he wriggle out of the consequences of his actions one last time, but future democracy-defenders are robbed of a critical precedent to use in the service of holding elected officials accountable. I'm Gerald Ford's number 1 hater for pardoning Nixon because I think it deprived us of a similar precedent. I want it on the legal record that US presidents can't get away with trying to cheat in a democracy, and that can only happen if Trump is alive and we can give Jack Smith the chance to finish what he started.

So anyway, pray to your favorite god, sacrifice a chicken, and harvest some adrenochrome from any local orphans and send that shit to the White House to keep this fuck alive.
