Small repair on recent paint | re-do advice

So, I repaired and painted my silver metallic Audi bumper — looks great.

All except a small imperfection. A week later(today), I sanded and re-painted (base and clear) that area.

I masked to the panel lines on two sides; the other two sides I did soft masking (there are no body lines on those sides) — I should not have masked — of course the edges are noticeable. Should have known.

Feedback please on my proposed approach:

1. Wait for the (2K) to dry. A few days?

2. The entire repair: Scuff with a 3M white pad and/or sand with 800

3. Then, re-do the color & clear without the mask

4. Clean up overspray with clay

BTW I’m using rattle cans.
