Weird things keep happening after breakup… coincidence or bad energy?

I recently have been becoming more spiritual and noticing signs from the universe. I went through a very traumatic break up and afterwards I noticed a lot of strange things happening. I knew this guy for 6 years we dated for a while and then he cheated on me , cursed me out and blocked me. He ran directly to the girl he cheated on me with. The way he betrayed me was brutal.

Here’s the strange part: since then, odd negative events seem to line up around him and this girl. For example, right after he blocked me, a park we always went to had a once-in-a-lifetime flood and completely dried it out. When he traveled with her, there was a freak sandstorm that happened immediately after. And then when he came back a hurricane hit where we live. Wherever he goes I’ve noticed random losses, scandals, or just bizarre “bad luck” moments.

I can’t tell if this is all coincidence or if he carries some kind of negative energy that spills over into everything. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Am I reading too much into it? I feel like it’s a lot to be just a coincidence
