strange keyword sites with endless walls of nonsensical text and odd images

When I was younger, I sometimes came across strange websites by typing super long, random google searches.

These sites were filled with endless walls of incoherent text, and between those were random pictures, some totally normal, but others were really out of place or even unsettling.

I remember scrolling forever and never reaching the bottom of the page. It felt like I had stumbled onto something I wasn’t supposed to. I just remembered this today and I can’t stop thinking about it.

And it wasn't one or two websites when you had the right keywords you would get hundreds of those.

Has anyone else seen this, or know what the purpose of these sites was?
