One Thousand Six Hundred And Seventy-Second Night

it is steadily getting warming. I stayed out all day though I spent quite a lot of time taking off and putting on my sweater. Neither was completely comfortable for long. Still, it was lovely in the sun. Not a hint of rain. the garden is flourishing finally even if I am growing tired of tending to it; mostly just lugging that heavy hose around the yard.

I wrote nothing in the morning and only a few hundred words of plot outline last night. Today, though, I wrote 649 words for I'm Still Sisyphus. The chapter is around halfway done already. I wanted to write more but the second I ended off at stumped me a little. I'll work through it tomorrow. Oh,I also started the back-cover sketch for a Sisyphus on my watercolour papers. Its going to be a simple still-life of some pomegranates and figs. Strangely, I don't think I've ever tried to paint fruit before; at least not since elementary art class. If I struggle to write again tonight I may just work on that.

That's all I really have for you tonight. A good, if a little unremarkable day. Oh, wait! No, actually, I did have something else of note to write about. Father's new jeep was supposed to come with a tool kit for removing the roof that was there when he bought the care so the original owner shipped it to us in the mail. It arrived a few days ago and Mother swore she heard it beeping. Father didn't believe her and though I did I wasn't there to here it until today. I found the source this morning. An air tag. As you may imagine I was rather worried why we were given something meant to stay in our vehicle with a tracking device hidden inside it. Father was nonchalant about it but I convinced him to ask the seller. From his reply, it seem it was sent by accident. I'll believe that for now, I suppose. I'll have to talk to Father tonight about whether we are going to ship it back or do something else. So that was a bit of a distressing discovery.

Now that is all I have for you tonight. A good and weirdly remarkable day.

Yours & Mine,

S.O. Skinner.
