Do the first and second generation T14/T14s laptops still have lap detection?

I’m planning to buy a used first- or second-generation T14 or T14s.

A few years ago, I had a T480, and I was frustrated beyond measure by the “Cool Quiet on Lap” feature.

There was no way to disable it in the BIOS, and the sensor was constantly triggered — even when the computer was on a desk. On Debian, the CPU kept throttling. I eventually had to edit out support for the sensor in the Linux kernel source code and recompile it.
