Has anybody had good results with Biossance squalane + retinol night serum?

I got this as a bit of an impulse buy at TJ Maxx and am wondering how it works. I can’t find many reviews for it. I have some skin discoloration, melasma , and wrinkles that I’m using retinol for. My insurance doesn’t cover prescriptions and my budget is really small so I just don’t have the luxury of trying things out to see if they work or not. Did it work for anybody else? I’ve been using Pacifica’s bachukiol and retinol, which I don’t think is working that well.
