Patch glue down Engineered Hardwood?

We have engineered hardwood which is glued down to a layer of plywood, which is in turn glued to a concrete subfloor. We need to do a foundation repair which involves removing a 3ft x 3ft section of flooring and concrete slap in the middle of a room and installing a pier under the house. Will it be possible to patch that section or do I have to redo the flooring in the entire room?
