Dairy Kastle watered down icecream?

Is it just me or is dairy Kastles ice cream seem watered down? I’ve noticed a stark difference between dairy kastles ice cream and DQ ice cream and it seems like it has more frozen water crystals in it. I’ve always loved getting dipped cherry cones with vanilla soft serve but this year it seems not as good? Am I tripping?
