I think i was having a much better experience with the seller-supplied microSD (oem) card image

So, i installed ArkOS (which i had considered doing anyway), because telling the oem card to update put me into a permanent boot-loop. the experience on the seller-supplied microSD card (oem) was WAY more smooth on my R36plus. In the first 24 hours on the oem card i 'broke' it by updating -- i broke my own "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" rule like an id10t. So i burned the most recent AerkOS image for the R36S Plus. At first this seemed GREAT. Tho it seems like i lost all the great button combo shortcuts the oem card card. Then in the next 24hrs i started noticing things like, the R36plus wouldn't remember settings. I couldn't enable wifi anymore (which i was able to in the oem image. I don't even see any place in any menus to force SAVE the settings. They just never stick. In an attempt to get the controls back, i did something that reset all the buttons to nothing, and every time i boot the machine back up, it asks me to re-set them, which gives me BASIC controls back, but NO button-combo shortcuts like save state, or any of that. And after i set them up again, if i go into a game and come back out, they're gone again and i have to reboot. So, far ArkOS 2.0 feels horrible.

Why won't the R36plus remember any settings i set? Why won't it let me re-enable the wifi?
