Shi Wudu ascended before Pei Ming?!
I'm looking at Suika's timeline, and it has Shi Wudu ascending a year before Pei Ming, and both not that long after Xie Lian's second banishment. Does anyone know what textual evidence this is based on?
I guess it's fine that it took 200 years for He Xuan to muster up the energy to go into the Kiln (especially since Hua Cheng has to do it first), but why is everything so close together??? There's like 500 years of gap in the gods ascending before Lang Qianqiu ascends ~500 years into Xie Lian's banishment.
I always guessed that Shi Wudu would have ascended ~200 years into Xie Lian's banishment, and then maybe He Xuan took 200 more years to become a supreme and take Ming Yi's godhood, putting him "ascending" at ~400 years into Xie Lian's banishment. This is based entirely on vibes and on spreading out ascensions. Obviously, Pei Ming was alive when Yushi Huang was alive and had to ascend in a similar enough time frame, so I just figured Pei Ming ascended before Shi Wudu. Like, way before.
I get that it makes some sense for the three tumors to ascend close together.... But also they don't have to. I think it also makes sense for their (terrible) personalities to attract each other, even if they aren't contemporaries.
It's really, really weird to me to think that Hua Cheng and He Xuan were alive at the same time. It just does not click for me haha. So just wondering, how much evidence is there to support those particular details of Suika's timeline?
