hey guys do you know if a normal doctor you go to for regular medical checkups is able to properly adjust my T dose or do i need to go elseware

Advice

i (16m) have been on T since i was 13. however i literally have been on the same dose since i fucking started it because of my mom and personal stuff, and i’ve been having my period and it’s distressing for me. my nanas calling to schedule a doctors appointment on tuesday and she says she thinks the doctor can but i always thought it was only like, those hormone doctors you wait months sometimes years to see? i’m in vermont and my area is small. i don’t know if a normal medical doctor is able to prescribe it, and i didn’t know where to look to figure it out so i’m asking here. if they can’t (which either way im going to the appointment to get birth control to hopefully stop my periods, and i’ll be asking if she can adjust my hormones properly) do i need to go to a planned parenthood? from what i know the only one near me is 20-30 minutes away so if i have to go there i will, but i was just wondering if you guys knew the answer to this question.

i won’t be taking your guys’ answers like they’re the truth to my situation i’m just curious if any of you knew the actual answer. either way i’m going to the appointment when it’s scheduled and i’ll be asking i just would like some thoughts before i go
