Administrative roles?

I have not worked in the field long, but with seeing about 15-18 kids a day I am on the quick road to burn out. How do I get into more administrative positions in the field and reduce my direct patient time? The "higher ups" at my private practice get to sit up front in the fishbowl on their laptops and leave 3 hours early. Any suggestions on ways to become more of a supervisor or admin role rather than just treating patients all day?
