Which of these laptops would be better suited for an engineering student?

Hi all, been looking for laptops for college recently and settled on these two, not looking to spend too much, €1300 is probably the most id be willing to spend but I can do the extra €80 for the ideapad. The biggest question for me is is it better to have 1tb storage and 32gb of ram with the Lenovo, or is it better to have the better processor with the vivobook? As far as I can tell the gpus are practically the same performance, but I heard the vivobook had battery life issues, not sure if that has been fixed or not. Any help would be greatly appreciated
