How to get skunk smell out of drapes?

Hi everyone!

Sometimes last night a skunk sprayed outside our open window (we're on the first floor), and now the whole apartment smells like skunk. After setting up bowls of white vinegar and wiping surfaces down with a hydrogen peroxide/baking soda mix, I realized the smell was concentrated in the drapes to that window. What's the best way to wash and dry them to get the smell out? The drapes are too large and heavy to effectively soak in a bowl or tub before machine washing, so I'd really appreciate workarounds. I'd also appreciate suggestions on what to wash them with (e.g. regular detergent? Vinegar? Hydrogen peroxide and baking soda?) Thanks so much!
