Cross play issues

Could anyone help or have a fix where you cant see a crossplay friend as online to invite them? we are all in discord talking and everyone is online/in the rec trying to party up but our 1 playstation friend just is not possible to invite at all, we've reset our internet, consoles, and games. any pointers? we checked NAT types and that doesn't seem to be the problem either.
