I finally got admitted to study my dream course! If some of you remember, there was a particular guy who once complained about not getting admission into his desired course maybe last year and went on a rant. But I’m honestly grateful that I was delayed and not denied.

I remember crying after getting my course changed but I believed that I will surely study law, it became my only goal, and I was quite determined.

This has been one of the most stressful academic sessions of my life— from JAMB glitches to WAEC glitches. My hairline literally receded from the mental stress. Even now, my parents still can’t fully comprehend how I managed to pull through.

I can’t wait to gear up in white and black, looking corporate and dashing. Still, I’m getting a little worried about my studies before resumption 😭. I also have some major goals I need to achieve for my CV if I want to work with the Big Four.

### My major goals:

**Graduating with at least a Second Class Upper.**
**Securing an internship between 100 level and 200 level.** This is very important because it will boost my CV, prove my activeness, and help me gain early experience.
**Getting a laptop.** I currently don’t have one, but I’m determined to learn Microsoft Word and Excel since many firms require strong computer skills.
**Professional certifications.** If anyone knows of certifications that law students should pursue, please share—this could be essential for me.

If you have any career advice and are willing to share, please don’t hesitate. The Nigerian job market is way too competitive, and I want to be fully prepared.

Also, if there are internship opportunities available, I’d be glad to apply. I’m very hardworking. And if anyone has a laptop they’re willing to dash out, please DM me,I really want to learn Microsoft and Excel, as most firms seem to highly demand those skills.

Once again, I’m grateful to finally be admitted into Law after being delayed but not denied.
