Why "Science Fiction" has less and less "Science"?

I get very frustrated when I watch scifi movies or shows, and the Science is so lazy!

If I hear "Reverse the polarity!" one more time...

Did good, plausible, and coherent "SCIENCE fiction" die with Asimov and Clarke?

Anyways, here's my little attempt at creating a good explanation of how "we got to Mars" without artificial gravity, multiverses, and emperors somehow coming back from death.
