Impact/ Allure Marketing/ Aura is a MLM SCAM JOB: Plz Read!
I dont even know where to begin with this review. There's too many negatives to encapsulate in one post. This branch of the 'company' has been the absolute worst job experience ever. I've never met a manager and assistant manager(one of them, the blondie) so especially desperate to hire young(17/18/19 year old) employees in what is supposed to be a business professional adult environment just so they have fuck buddies and 'besties'. Mind you the manager is a predator that has gotten moved around the country, office to office after being in the business and training program for 10 years, due to his predatory behavior and assault of employees and DUIs. He's been moved around like a sex offending bishop gets moved from parish to parish after offending. The rumors aren't rumors here. Management in these 'offices' look to find fuckable young employees or fuckable employees of color. And that becomes a blatantly obvious truth amongst all the offices in the building once you are in this role for a while. Not only that but the push to be predatory extends to the job itself. I was told to pitch and attempt to solicit money from donors even if they are sick and senile or genuinely don't speak English which directly contradicts what is taught during the training phase before getting 'promoted'. Not only do you get paid like a poor Victorian British child at the grand price of $30 a day, the management in this office get easily offended if you refuse or decline to participate in AM and PM atmosphere(after spending 10-11 hrs a day with everyone), but the pressure and desperation to have young impressionable new hires being forced to attend drinking festivities while underage is wild and scary especially with a manager that has two confirmed DUIs and like mentioned above a scary history of targeting and violating female employees sexually. In such a high political climate, the terminologies and acronyms like MAGA(which for them stands for Making Atmosphere Great Again) being 'taught' as a principle and used in an office of people of different races, ethnicities, nationalities, and backgrounds that are being directly targeted by the actual creators of MAGA that most of the world is familiar with- is icky, tone def, disconnected, delusional, and vile. But the people in these offices who drink the cool- aid per say or who voted and align politically with he whom shall not be named, will do mental Olympics to attempt to convince you that 1) MAGA isn't that bad 2) it's not that serious, we're 'reclaiming ' the word and 3) you need to learn this and write it down as many times as possible so you can high roll or at least meet standards(among other things). It's insane to me. Then there's the numbers. When they had leaders meetings and reviewed aspects of the training program to get to management, stats and reports would sometimes be broken down and the numbers wouldn't add up. How can some of the bigger offices and CEOs be doing these triple-digit millions per year and yet only have 10 open offices instead of the hundreds of offices that we all get told and rizzed up about in the interview phase and in the morning meetings? This job is beyond mentally and emotionally taxing; it's downright not worth it. There's no safety or security in doing this role, so strangers or "Potential donors" can be rude to you, spit on you, threaten to assault you, and in one case, from experience, threaten to kidnap you. Fellow employees have been attacked or violated in the field with no empathy or care from management, and again, no documentation because these people don't like a paper trail. But if you explain any of this, management will look at you as if you're the problem, tell you not to talk about it because you'll discourage the interviewees and new employees from sticking around. There's no HR person as well. For a team of millionaires and billionaires, they sure do have a tiny office with only two floors and two conference rooms per floor for usually about 60-80 people in each office every day. Crowded innit. They will attempt to convince you that they're all one big family, you included. They don't care about the clients they represent; they only care about money and numbers. People don't make it through the program successfully, and the manager himself has even said, it's not about making money. Idk about the rest of you folk,s but when you sign a contract to do a job, money absolutely does fucking matter, it's quite literally the point. One of the assistant managers has also said this same line and has convinced several young, impressionable people to leave their families and home countries with the false promise and false hope that they can make it in America and achieve that white picket fence life with this job, when in fact they don't make anything livable. The stipend of interns is the same as the base pay for actual account executives and corporate trainers, which is crazy to me as well. This company doesn't refund for all the daily travel either. They don't document anything and they prefer having phone calls over texts so they don't leave a paper trail of evidence if worse came to worse. It's sick that they can continue to do this to people. And honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if a few years from now, when this place and all similar offices nationwide burn to the ground or shut down (God willing) that Netflix is gonna reach out to all past employees about being interviewed for a documentary or docuseries about this company. I hope parents see this review too! So if you see the names Impact/Allure Marketing/ Aura or whatever name they're gonna rebrand and name themselves under again in your job search- Report them and run for the hills.
