Bleach soak questions

I found some nice smooth rocks outside my apartment, and decided I wanted them for my reptile and fish tanks. I did an overnight bleach soak, but learned bleach is toxic for reptiles, so I soaked for another 48+ hours with an aquarium dechlorinator (like a lot lol), and then let them sit and dry out for another 48+ hours on a paper towel. I heard letting them sun dry is better, but it's been raining like crazy here all week here. I didn't change out the water or add any more dechlorinator during that 48 hour soak, and I just saw that was recommended, but I smelled the rocks and I don't smell any bleach at all, so I was wondering if they are safe to use yet or if I should soak them some more? I just need some opinions. I'm excited to put them in, but I'd rather be safe than sorry!
