Full speed at router, but much slower on devices (help?)

Hey folks,

Just got EBOX 1 Gbps installed in Ottawa. The tech set me up with a Nokia XS-010X-R ONT and Nokia Beacon 3.1 router.

Here’s what I’m seeing:

Router test (via Nokia WiFi app): full gigabit speeds (close to 1 Gbps up/down).

Laptop (Ethernet, Cat6): ~830 Mbps upload but only ~400 Mbps download.

PC with Intel AX211 Wi-Fi 6E (5 GHz): link speed around 700 Mbps, real-world ~400–600 Mbps.

So the service itself is solid (confirmed at the router), but speeds on my devices are much lower than expected.

My questions:

1. Anyone else seeing low download but full upload on wired tests with the Beacon 3.1?

2. Is the Beacon 3.1 just weak for Wi-Fi, and should I add another Beacon / upgrade to a Wi-Fi 6E/7 router for better results?

Would appreciate any advice, I just want to confirm if this is normal for the Beacon or if I’ve got a setup issue.
