Parking tips for Tulsa vs OSU at Boone Pickens Stadium (Stillwater 9/19/25)

hey everyone, with the tulsa game coming up i figured i'd share some parking advice for anyone heading to boone pickens stadium. i've been to enough games there to know it can be a real headache if you don't have a plan.

honestly the easiest thing i've found recently is this website Prked. people who live right by boone pickens stadium rent out their driveways and garages for game days. it's way cheaper than you'd think and you can book a spot right next to the stadium. this lets you skip most of the traffic chaos and it's just a short walk to the gates. definitely worth checking out before you deal with the official lots.

if you're going the traditional route, most of the lots super close to the stadium are for the posse donors and they fill up fast. those lots usually open at 8 am on game day no matter when kickoff is.

for the rest of us, there is some public parking on campus but it's first-come, first-served, so you have to get there early to snag a spot. a lot of people don't know this, but the best bet is to park downtown in stillwater and take the free shuttle. it runs every 15 minutes starting three hours before the game and picks you up at 7th and lewis. it drops you off right by the stadium on hall of fame and runs for a couple hours after the game ends too. it saves you the stress of fighting traffic right by the stadium, which gets pretty crazy because they change the traffic patterns on game days.

a couple other things to keep in mind, they want you to have your tickets and any parking passes downloaded to your phone's wallet before you get to the stadium since cell service can be spotty with the big crowds. also the gates open 90 minutes before kickoff. if you're planning on tailgating you can claim a spot on campus starting at noon the day before.

hope this helps a bit. it should be a great game, go pokes
