Any good books on the secular/historical view of Islam?
I'e done tons of research on Islam and its origins, such as how Zoroastrianism was the first monotheistic religion in the region and it influenced Judaism and then Christianity and Islam. How things like the Kabbah and the black stone are reminants of arab paganism. How Muhammed was a trader and learnt Christianity through trade etc.
Does anyone have any recommendations of credible books, or even media in this area? Preferably one's that are not Anti-Islam but rather just historical / secular accounts based on academic research?
