I Need Some Help With A Recent Accident

I recently was in an accident without insurance and am now trying to navigate what is next. The vehicle that I struck was a firetruck that was blocking off a lane on the highway. I was taken to the hospital but nobody else was injured and no other vehicles were involved. My question is what do I do with my car. It is severely damaged and is likely totaled but unfortunately I have a loan through carmax. Normally I know that insurance would have it appraised and that it would likely be sold but I was uninsured so how to I start the process of either getting it appraised or disposed of. I know that I will at minimum have to pay off the rest of the loan but what else do I need to do?
