Who's Horcrux?

Prompt

Being slivers of a soul, the horcruxes were inherently unstable, their containers only so good at holding them in place. The metaphysical weight of a soul is that it is infinite but ephemeral, and when shearing parts of himself apart and shoving that slice of infinity into an object Tom Riddle forgot that a soul may bind to an object temporarily, but it will live on forever in a physical being.

The scarcrux merged with baby-harry when he was an infant, it skewed his aura a bit into the black, granted his parseltongue ability, and made his magic powerful enough to survive abuse at the dursleys, sure, he's got a bit of a temper, but not that much worse than a normal kid. Harry does occasionally have the strangest feelings of deja'vu, especially when walking through London proper, or after seeing the Hogwart’s castle, it's probably not important, there's more magic to learn. Maybe he'll ask Hermione about it later.

As diary!Riddle poured himself into ginny, he faded into her, merging with her soul as she wrote. The possessions ended a few days before the chamber incident because ginnymort is there now, an influx of memory from a 16 year old war orphan mixed with a pureblood daughter of a house full of love and care if not the means to flaunt wealth. She's a bit more rutheless now, can speak to snakes, and has picked up a bit of bisexuality, thanks to her merged soul, but ginny's doing alright. She'll ace her next few years in classes, play quiddich for a few years professionally and transition that into a nice, well paying job down the line.

If anyone asked, Nagini'd tell them she's doing pretty great actually, she's got this nice den in the forbidden forest, a cute basilisk girlfriend, and all the rabbits and spiders she could want for dinner.

Kreacher's a bit upset actually, his great master regulus's last task fulfilled after only a few rough years trying to open that locket, and now all of these snakes keep invading his mistresses house! He tells them to leave but they just burrow into his mistresses favorite couches and ottomans. At least they're keeping the doxie population low.

When Dumbledore puts on the ring!horcrux he finally understands that Tom Riddle's horcruxes never would have worked long-term, the pieces of the poor boys soul have already been absorbed into other people. He puts together the pieces that Harry and Ginny must have gained from their respective horcrux encounters, and makes peace with his grand plan falling apart. Now he just hopes he can win the war before he dies of the withering curse.

Meanwhile Luna found this cool diadem while exploring the room of hidden things between DA sessions, and wow that cool tiara had a bit of extra knowledge, must've been what the legendary artifact had going on. Doesn't exactly change much about her though, might be a good article for her daddy's paper though.

Bellatrix went to check on her masters artifact in her vault after he was brutally killed by Dumbledore, but her lord promised he'd return so long as his artifacts were kept intact. She'll keep the cup closer to her now, can't trust those greedy goblins after all. And she'll admit, she's a bit baby crazy after her night of passion pre-battle with her lord and having morning sickness recently. She'll have to bring him back again so her baby has his papa. She's just a bit too crazy to notice the horcrux merging, does make her a slightly better mother though, she recognizes what causes trauma in a kid a bit better. Still a bit of a helicopter parent.

Tom Riddle's main soul piece ends up merging with a normal snake when he feels the tether to his horcruxes waning while in spirit form. He'll escape this prison and return to power soon enough! Just as soon as he can find his way past this dreaded glass wall, or use his fangs to open the vent hatch. Maybe he can trick an unsuspecting speaker from the hundreds who seem to pass by his glass each day. (Aka Tommy boys main soul ends up a snake in a zoo)
