Just entered my first tournament after a 15 yr hiatus from the game. Made it to Quarterfinals

Tournament

I live in a smaller city in Asia. I quit pool for 15 years because of work and the fact I got sober, and always associated pool with alcohol.

I'm completely over that now, and have no desire to drink so I have spent the last month re-learning fundamentals (mainly 9 ball, as that is popular here). I'm probably about 60% as good as I used to be, but still love the game.

I got to the quarterfinals in the local 9 ball tourney (lost a hill-hill game). Would have made a little money had I won that match.

Wither way, my love for this game never died, and now I am actively playing again it's really reminded me how much I love this game.

Anyways, pointless post really, but just wanted to share.
