Has anyone ever received an OTA update for the Red Magic 6S Pro?

Hey all,

I’m wondering if anyone here has actually received an OTA update on the Red Magic 6S Pro. I’m currently on NX669S_ENCommon_v4.15 with the last Android Security Update dated October 1st, 2021.

In all the time I’ve had the phone, I’ve never once received an update notification, which made me wonder if that’s normal for this device.

When I checked the official RedMagic support page (link here), it looks like there’s a RedMagic 8.04 version that should be compatible with my model.

Does that mean the only way to get it is by following the manual flash procedure from their website? Has anyone here done this successfully? If so, is there a reliable guide or walkthrough I should follow before attempting it?

Any advice would be much appreciated!
