Campaign tips?

Hey friends, writing my first full length DnD campaign as a DM, i’ve written some fun little one shots, but have never done something full length.

I’m wanting to do a typical fantasy game, with a band of heros and villains, trying to keep it pretty vanilla for my first one. But i’m wanting to make it fun, so what are some tips i can use to help make my first campaign amazing?! How do i keep it interesting?

(also any tools or anything would be great too!)
