Is Ushuaia worth the travel? Is it overrated?

I am looking for an 8 days travel in November. I'm from Brazil and I already visited BA, Iguaçu, Montevideu. Me and my gf are considering to travel to Ushuaia. I saw some pictures and Emerald Lake seems gorgeous, but I am unsure if it is worth the travel, not sure if it is overrated because of the fin del mundo thing. I like hiking, so this is a pro. Also we wouldn't go to Antartida. We already know that it won't be a cheap trip. Is Ushuaia worth the travel?
