How hungry should you be for the Damas tasting menu?

From prior posts on this sub it sounds like a lot of food. But for a fifteen course tasting I'm wondering if you want to basically fast before the meal, or at the least skip lunch. For those who have eaten there, any recommendations for how hungry to be for this meal?
