Temperature safety of Xcopri and Lacosamide?

My son's Xcopri and Motpoly pills were in the car during a 100 degree day for several hours. I'm worried they may be compromised by the heat. Obviously, we won't know for sure for a day or two if they just totally stopped working, but I'd like to avoid that situation.

Has anyone had experience getting additional pills when theirs may be damaged? What did you have to do to make that happen?
