Student need your help

Hello everyone, I’m looking for a new laptop primarily for school use. I currently have a Lenovo at work that I really like because it’s relatively lightweight and has an excellent all-day battery.

My personal laptop is heavy and has poor battery life.

My budget is under $1,000. Priorities are long battery life and smooth performance with many lightweight applications open simultaneously (Excel, OneDrive, OneNote, EndNote/Zotero).

A touchscreen with pen support would be a bonus but is not mandatory.

I’d appreciate any recommendations or guidance. Thank you.
