The best fantasy name generator

Hey everyone,

I’ve been working on a little side project and wanted to share it with you all. It’s a fantasy name generator that I built for my own game project, but I thought it might be useful for others as well.

There are already plenty of name generators floating around online, but I found that a lot of them feel a bit outdated or repetitive. The names they produce often end up sounding pretty generic, which can be a problem if you’re trying to create a unique world, characters, or lore. With that in mind, I set out to create something that feels fresher, more flexible, and that I can keep updating regularly with new patterns, categories, and ideas.

Right now it generates a variety of names, but my goal is to keep expanding it—adding more cultural inspirations, mixing in new structures, and tweaking the logic so the results feel more organic and less cookie-cutter. I’d love to hear from you about what kinds of features or options would be most helpful. For example: would you like sliders for complexity, filters by theme (like elven, dwarven, demonic, etc.), or even the ability to save favorite names for later?

I’m really open to feedback, whether it’s about usability, the types of names it should support, or ideas on how to make it stand out from the many other tools out there.
