Switch 2 Games should have access to frame rate and upscaling settings to preserve battery life
Title. The Switch 2 has an undersized battery for its hardware. Donkey Kong Bananza, Mario Kart World, Cyberpunk 2077, etc. all run around 2-2.5 hours. Obviously Cyberpunk 2077 already takes advantage of DLSS and Frame rate limiters but there is no reason why there shouldn’t be settings for FPS and Upscaling in Banaza and MKW. Even a 45 fps toggle and DLSS settings could vastly improve battery consumption on these games. If you look at threads from other handhelds, playing at 45 FPS instead of 60 can greatly improve battery life. DLSS isn’t for everybody, but it should be an option. Quality DLSS doesn’t look bad at all and gives a nice boost in performance- why not utilize it?
