Expenses

Hi everyone I’m going into my first year of nursing and i am after a bit of advice . I have applied for the £5000 learning support fund you get for doing a healthcare degree . And I was wondering is there anyway to claim for train expense when I go on placement or are you expected to use the £5000 a year you get on expenses like getting to and from placement ? Thanks.
