Why do women bring up unrelated issues from the past when arguing?

Typical fight… Say we are arguing that I didn’t do something she wanted done properly . I try to apologize or defend myself because maybe I misunderstood what she wanted. Then she jumps back 2 weeks ago and says “Also 2 weeks ago you forgot to comment on my instagram posts!” It’s that type of fucked up behaviour that as a man gets me pissed . Then I’ll get a comment regarding something that has me struggling to remember. Because now I can’t remember that is also thrown in my face . Then they wonder why men shut down , the communication stops or in some unfortunate cases men turn violent. I don’t condone violet actions but I know a girl who pulled shit like this all the time until she met the wrong guy. Trust me it was not good . Focus on the problem at hand and correct that . Don’t bring up other shit that is irrelevant. Imagine going to court and you as a female are being asked questions specific to the case and you jump into 5 other unrelated issues . Dumb ASF.
