Breakdown of cars manufactured in north america vs shipped in

I want to understand the cost breakdown of cars. I presume cars made outside of north america have a considerable $$ shipping charge to bring into north america due to there size and weight. I am interesting in a complete data breakdown of all the common cars driven in canada/usa, in terms of which are manufactured in north america, versus those manufactured outside of north america and have to be shipped in. So if you buy a car in Canada/USA but made elsewhere, how much of the $ is just the shipping? I am really caring about recent tariff varaibles, but I historical tarrif baseline info could be useful.
