No double xp in Australia?

Hello, I saw the recent announcement of every weekend moving forward being either double or triple xp. I saw from the comments people are reporting having double xp for this weekend.

However, in Australia it doesn't seem that the double XP is active. I was wondering if anyone else was experiencing this issue?
