Puppy 10 days post op

Our lab puppy had exploratory intestinal surgery 10 days ago due to ingesting a foreign object. Today we noticed swelling on one side of his abdomen. He did start moving around more today. Staples done come out until Tuesday and hesitant to take him to emergency vet unless we need to. Could this be a seroma or something else?
