Guidance on applying to medschools

Hey all.

I just tested yesterday for the mcat, and I am waiting on scores to come out (I think they come out at the end of september. What I need advice is on what to do next like do I need to wait on my scores to be released and then thereafter apply to the med schools here? I still need to write up the essays/secondaries.

I believe that applications close for most med schools at the start of october?

Also does anyone know anything about applying to MD/DO schools in the US? or even Caribbean schools?
